Join us for this hands-on maker session to experience the affordances of making and its unique ability to provide inclusive opportunities for students to find their voice, assert their identity, and make learning meaningful. 
Making in education offers multiple points of entry for educators to foster deep student engagement and interest-driven learning. Learning in this context provides students with the opportunity to tinker, problem-solve, design, iterate, and create. It is through these carefully crafted experiences that students learn the content being addressed as well as begin to internalize and own competencies related to self-directed learning, perseverance, dealing with ambiguity, and resilience. Come and experience the wonder and empowerment of learning.
