Journey Mapping in Education: Using storytelling and visualization to empower all learners

Log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Feedback form is now closed.
Come and learn about journey mapping, a technique that utilizes the powerful instruments of storytelling and visualization to help research and design teams understand user experiences and needs over time. CAST is adapting this tool to educational contexts, in our work designing educational environments and tools, in design thinking workshops for educators, and as a research tool in collaboration with participants, giving them voice and agency in the process and serving as a mechanism for self-reflection on their own teaching and learning processes. In this demonstration session, you will see the technique in action and then try it out, leaving empowered to use it within your own contexts.
