Sara Stetson

Andover Public Schools and Rivier University
Assistant Superintendent
Greater Boston Area
Dr. Sara Stetson is an award-winning university professor and administrator. She has taught courses in LD, reading, cognition, assessment, diversity, UDL, and research. Dr. Stetson has used the principles of UDL as a framework for thinking about teaching, learning and counseling in her courses and daily work for over a decade. She coordinated a district UDL implementation and has extensive experience developing programming in inclusive environments. As an Assistant Superintendent for students “in the margins”, Dr. Stetson believes UDL is a powerful framework for modeling and driving positive systems change. Our goal is to model UDL principles through PLCs and course communities; inspiring flexible, creative, design-forward teachers who know all children offer a unique perspective on our community.
